The juice extractor is designed with safety and simplicity in mind. It is safe to keep in a household with young children as it does not have any sharp or exposed parts that could cause harm. When it comes to cleaning the juicer we would highly recommend hand washing it. Due to the appliance being made up of a few different smaller parts we would not recommend cleaning it in the dishwasher.
